This Privacy Policy of Hourly Shaping explains the types of personal data we collect about you when you interact with us, how long we store and handle that data, and how we keep it safe. Please note that it’s likely that we’ll update this Privacy Policy from time to time. WHEN YOU VISIT OUR WEBSITE

To help us improve our products and services we collect data, for example number of visitors, pages visited, or where our visitors come from, using cookies or similar technology.

This data is shared with third party data processors: Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Analytics Advertising Features, Facebook, Bing, and Pinterest; to enable us to view, manage and compare this data. All data is anonymised and not personally identifiable.

 

WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER

We collect your name, email, phone number/s, billing and delivery addresses, IP address and items purchased. We use this data to allow us to confirm your order, contact you about delivery, process your payment, and enable fraud protection.

We share this data with trusted third parties to perform specific services. They may only use your data for the exact purposes we specify in our contract with them. These services include delivery, finance & warranty applications, repair services, and payment processors.

We may contract with other companies to provide certain services, including without limitation credit card processing, order fulfillment, shipping, name and address verification, email distribution, market research and promotions management. We provide these companies with only the information they need to perform their services and work closely with them to ensure that your privacy is respected and protected. These companies are prohibited by contract from using this information for their own marketing purposes or from sharing this information with anyone other than Furniture Choice. We will not pass your information on to any other companies or other third parties for marketing purposes unless you have agreed for us to do so.

After delivery, as part of the ordering process we may send you two emails: a link to independently review your buying experience on either Trust-pilot or Google, and a link to ask for your feedback on the quality of our furniture. To do this we may share your name and email address with our data processor Trust-pilot, who will only use your data for the exact purposes as specified in our contract with them.

To facilitate payment, your billing details are encrypted and tokenism to ensure they are protected, and passed to third-party payment gateway providers. We do not save any of your credit card or payment information.

If you choose to register an account we will also keep an encrypted record of your password to allow you secure access to your account details, such as order history, addresses and subscriptions.

To allow us to manage returns, repairs and warranties we will keep this data for no longer than 10 years. After that time the data will be deleted or anonymised so it is no longer personally identifiable.

 

WHEN YOU SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER OR MAGAZINE

We only send newsletters occasionally. To do this we share your name and email address with our data processor MailChimp who will only use your data for the exact purposes as specified in our contract with them.

YOUR RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

You have the right to request that we delete any or all personal data Furniture Choice holds on you at any time. The only reason we would not carry out this request is if it would result in us being in breach of other legal or regulatory obligations we have, but we would always inform you at the time were this the case.

 

We value your privacy and the information you consent to share in relation to our SMS marketing service. We use this information to send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us.
